Sik Yinghuhng Juhng Yinghuhng: mutual appreciation between heroes; thinking highly of one another

The last years of the Han dynasty involved periods of great disorder.  Warlords rose against one another in a struggle for supremacy.  It is said that leaders Chouh Chou and Lauh Bei were discussing the heroes of their time when Chouh Chou complimented Lauh Bei by saying, "Now you and I are heroes (yinghuhng)."

My fellow writers are my heroes.  Thank you to Lara Britt who recently gave me the Sunshine Award!  This honor is for those whose positivity and creativity inspire those around them.

Wow! Thanks! I have 3 library cards at the moment -- I'd have more but there are reciprocal borrowing privileges with some of the others I use.

I love those factoids, I thought I was the only one with more than 2 library cards. What does dried squid taste like? I shall visit the other 'sunshiney' bloggers. Thanks.

Oh, I'm glad I'm not alone with stocking up on library cards!

Dried squid's a little bit like beef jerky (salty and semi-chewy) but with a burst of seafood flavor.

Also known as cuttlefish. Nommers. I'd have to add arare and wasabi peas to that list. And that's before we get to the sweets...crack seed, dried fruit, sesame/honey candy, almond cookies...time to go visit Yuan and see what she has on her counter.
Great choices in blogs. I'm a frequent flyer at most. Have to check out the new-to-mes.
